Don’t ask me how I find these things, I can’t explain it. Well, alright, I’ll try. I got a call about a month ago and my caller ID indicated it was my mom calling and when I answered the phone it was not my dear mother but a foul mouthed guy making fart noises into the phone. I hung up and redialed the number which inturn got me in touch with mom and she explained she was baking cookies and did not call me. I was baffled and thought it must be a a problem with my iPhone. About an hour later another call came through this time caller ID said it was my wife and when I answered it was the same loud inauditable guy making strange noises. I hung up and could not figure out how someone was calling me and spoofing their caller ID. When my phone rang again I hesitated picking it up but I did since it said it was a friend and I was taking my chances. My buddy was on the other end of the line laughing his ass off explaining that he found a site that allows you to mask your caller ID and make it look like anyone you want was actually making the call and since he had the numbers to my wife and family (we are good friends) he decided to play a joke on me.
